2012 events

Our First Meeting for 2012 will be a Southern Meeting held at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens in Dorset on Sunday June 17th June.

Our National Meeting for 2012 will be held at Cambridge Botanic Gardens on Sunday August 19th.

This wonderful collection consists of over 8000 species planted throughout its 40 acres of landscaped gardens and glasshouses.

The outdoor Terrace Garden has recently undergone a major redevelopment to show the flora of New Zealand.

The Temperate Glasshouse displays a range of plants from South Western Australia and the Cape region of South Africa.

Other glasshouse collections include alpines, plants from tropical rainforests, arid lands and oceanic islands.

It also has Systematic (Order) beds, a Chronological Bed and a fern courtyard amongst its further attractions.

As we will also be holding our AGM at this meeting entrance will be free for paid up members of the society - so please do put it in your diary now!
